NASYP 2023
As we bid farewell to the IEEE R8 North Africa Student and Young Professional Congress 2023, hosted by Egypt University of Informatics – EUI and IEEE EUI SB, we’re grateful for this incredible experience. These 4 days were not just about technology; they were about embracing the rich culture of Egypt and forging connections with fellow professionals.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the organizing committee, dedicated volunteers, and Egypt University for their unwavering efforts in making this event possible. It’s through their hard work that we had the privilege of attending insightful workshops, absorbing inspiring keynotes, and connecting with peers who share our passion for innovation.
Our appreciation goes to Amira Tmar, our 2022/2023 chair, for her role in representing our IEEE ENISO Student Branch during this prestigious congress.
We also extend our thanks to the IEEE Tunisia Section, IEEE R8 SAC, and IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals for uniting us and turning this gathering into a reality.
As we journey back, we carry with us not only new knowledge and experiences but also the warmth of Egyptian hospitality and countless cherished memories. We’re looking forward to a bright future for the IEEE ENISO Student Branch!

R8 SYP - August 2016
The IEEE R8 Student and Young Professional Congress is the largest student event in all Region 8. It occurs every two years and gathers both students and young professionals members from all Sections in this Region. SYP’s main goal is to enhance and foster the engineering sense and capabilities through different activities both technically and culturally. It also provides an opportunity to network.
We, IEEE ENISo SB had the pleasure to participate in the 2016 version of the Congress which was hosted by the IEEE Student Branches Regensburg and Passau in Regensburg, Germany from the 17th to the 21st of August 2016.Â
